Memorable Trips

My most memorable trip I’ve been on was my trip to France with two of my friends the summer before freshman year. My friends live in France with their dad so I had the opportunity to fly down with them and stay at their house for 2 weeks while visiting places nearby and experiencing French food and culture. While in France, we went to their local mall and their dad took the three of us to restaurants that week as well so I could try different foods from there. I got to try escargot for the first time and hot chocolate there too since it is made differently than in the U.S. I also got to shop at a lot of stores that aren’t available in the U.S. like Bershka and walk around the other stores such as grocery stores and drug stores. We also took the trains everywhere we went because that is the main form of transportation and is really convenient when in the city. The week before I left we also went to the beach for a few days and spent time on the boardwalk and in the water. On my last two days in France we drove to Paris so I could fly back to the U.S. through the Charles de Gaulle airport. In Paris we walked around and walked to the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower. I took a lot of pictures and ate a lot of good food there as well.
