Over spring break, my family and I went to my grandparent’s house. At my grandparent’s house, I met my cousins and we spent a lot of quality time together. I enjoyed eating my grandmother’s food because the flavors were immaculate. The spicy aroma mixed with the tangy yet vivid spices made my mouth water. I also loved listening to my grandfather talk about his childhood in India. The way he described his stories with vivid imagery and emotion was so compelling, and thought proving. After coming back home, I was very tired but also valued my time at my grandparents’ house. For the rest of spring break I had to go back to my job. I coached little kids from the age of 6 to 12. My friend and I taught tennis from Wednesday to Sunday from 6pm to 8pm everyday. In total I earned $130. When I was not coaching, I either spent my time on my phone or was doing homework and was studying for upcoming tests. Though I got distracted easily and so I did not spend a lot of time being productive. Anyhow, on Friday, me and my friends went to a cat café. The one near George Mason University. When we arrived, I could already see the small heads of the cats peeking thorough the window. When I was finally able to enter, I couldn’t help my self by immediately pet the grey cat that was lying on the floor. I really wanted to adopt a cat, but I knew my parents wouldn’t let me. So I tried to make my money’s worth by petting and cuddling with the cats.
